External Coatings

1. Fusion Bonded Epoxy (FBE) – A popular single-layer powder coating known for excellent adhesion, chemical resistance, and durability. Commonly used for gas and water pipelines.
2. 3-Layer Polyethylene (3LPE) – Combines FBE primer, adhesive, and polyethylene topcoat.
3. 3-Layer Polypropylene (3LPP) – Similar to 3LPE but with a polypropylene topcoat, heat-resistant.
4. Coal Tar Enamel – Traditional coating with good water resistance.
5. High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) Jackets – Used for added mechanical protection, especially in trenchless installations.
